Changing your mindset is hard. There’s no neon sign flashing in front of you all day reminding you to channel the Girl with the Red Hat.
Instead it’s like some form of organised fun. Planning ahead, that on Thursday I will channel her.
So that’s what I did. Having booked off a random Thursday to spend the day with a friend, we decided to go to London to spend the day exploring a variety of museums and art galleries. This would be just the day out that the Girl with the Red Hat would have planned. Due to the windy weather I had to leave the Red Hat at home, but that didn’t stop me.
We started early and spent the day exploring London and a variety of museums and art galleries including the Design Museum, the V&A Childhood Museum, the Saatchi Gallery and the Old Operating Theatre. I would recommend them all!
It’s getting easier and it’s fun. Faking confidence in the hope that it will slowly ooze into my everyday life.
